Souvenirs en géométrie légère

Few years ago I interviewed a group of
people about their past, they were aged
between 55 and 85 years old, all coming
from a small village in the north of Italy.
More a person was older, more she or he was
taking the time to well explain details,
apparently not that essential for
the development of the story told.
This way of telling a memory reminded me
of a drop of paint in a bowl
of water: the color dilates, evolves
in new shapes to, eventually,
loosing his original properties.

Starting from this idea, I made and selected
a series of pictures, trying to recreate
my personal interpretation of those stories,
exploring the concept of light and
ephemeral geometry within a memory.
